Jazeera Airways is a low-cost airline based in Kuwait, flying to the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia, Africa and Europe from its own terminal at Kuwait International Airport. Every fare includes a 7 kg cabin bag, Value and Extra add checked bags, and some flights have a Business cabin. This guide covers power bank rules, check-in at Terminal 5 and how it compares with Air Arabia and flydubai.
The airline was founded in 2004 as the Middle East’s first privately owned airline and began flying in 2005. It flies an all-Airbus fleet of A320neo-family aircraft.

Jazeera Airways follows the ICAO power bank rules in force worldwide since 27 March 2026:
Online check-in is available on the website and app. The airline runs its own Terminal 5 in Kuwait, which is quick and compact. Arrive at least two to three hours before international flights.
Counters close 60 minutes before departure and the boarding gate 20 minutes before, so don’t leave it late, even at a quiet terminal.
Infants under two travel on an adult’s lap. Choose seats at booking if you want to sit together. Wheelchairs and other special assistance should be requested at least 48 hours before the flight.
Children aged 12 and over can travel alone without an escort, while younger children must travel with an adult. Families can pre-order children’s meals online, and strollers can usually be taken to the aircraft door.
The airline also flies seasonal routes to Europe and Central Asia, including Trabzon, Bodrum, Almaty and Tbilisi. These flights sell out quickly in July and August, when many Kuwaiti families travel, so book early for summer trips.
