Pegasus Airlines is Turkey’s largest low-cost airline, flying from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to more than 100 destinations in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. Fares come as packages, from Basic with only an under-seat bag to Comfort Flex with a seat, meal and changes. This guide covers power bank rules, check-in at Sabiha Gökçen, transfers in Istanbul and how it compares with Turkish Airlines and SunExpress.
Founded in 1990 as a charter airline, it became a low-cost airline in 2005. It flies a large fleet of Airbus A320neo and A321neo jets and Boeing 737s.

New international (ICAO) rules apply from 27 March 2026, and European airlines follow them:
Online check-in opens 72 hours before departure. Counters at Sabiha Gökçen close 45 minutes before international flights, and passport control can be busy at peak times. Arrive at least two and a half hours before international flights.
Infants under two travel on an adult’s lap, and pushchairs and car seats can usually be checked in free. Request wheelchairs and other special assistance at least 48 hours before the flight.
The airline sells connections through Sabiha Gökçen:
