Cebu Pacific is the Philippines’ largest airline and a leading Asian low-cost carrier, flying to dozens of Philippine islands and across Asia, plus Dubai and Sydney. Every bundle includes 7 kg of hand-carry in two pieces, GO Easy and GO Flexi add a 20 kg bag, and power banks cannot be used in flight. This guide covers the bundles, hand-carry sizes, power bank rules, typhoon season and how Cebu Pacific compares with Scoot and Cebgo.
Cebu Pacific was founded in 1988, began flying in 1996 and is the Philippines’ largest airline. Its sister airline Cebgo flies ATR turboprops to smaller islands, and it is replacing older jets with Airbus neo models.

Cebu Pacific follows Philippine and ICAO rules:
Online check-in is available on the website and app. Domestic passengers can often use a mobile boarding pass, while international passengers need a document check. Arrive two hours before domestic flights and three before international ones.
From roughly June to November, typhoons can disrupt flights, so GO Flexi is worth considering.
GO Basic is the cheapest way to fly Cebu Pacific, and it works well if you can travel with hand-carry only. You get 7 kg in two pieces and a random seat at check-in. If you need a checked bag, it is usually cheaper to add one online to GO Basic than to pay at the airport, and on some routes GO Easy costs about the same once a bag is included.
Cebu Pacific does not fly to the US mainland, so travellers from the United States usually take a long-haul flight to Manila or another Asian hub, then connect to Cebu. If you book the two flights separately, leave plenty of time between them and remember that Cebu Pacific’s baggage allowance may be lower than your long-haul airline’s.
Infants under two travel on an adult’s lap. Request wheelchairs and other special assistance in advance. Pets are generally not accepted in the cabin.

You can also book an airport transfer in advance at a fixed price.
Yes, for budget travel. Cebu Pacific has the widest network in the Philippines, a young Airbus fleet and very low fares if you travel light. Delays happen at busy times and in typhoon season, so allow time for connections.
