About FlyOne
FlyOne is a Moldovan low-cost airline flying from Chișinău to Western Europe, with sister airlines in Armenia and Uzbekistan. Every fare includes an 8 kg cabin bag. This guide covers power bank rules, check-in at Chișinău, visiting Moldova and how it compares with Wizz Air and Ryanair.
Founded in 2016, the airline set up an Armenian sister airline in 2021 and bought an Uzbek airline in 2025. It flies Airbus A320 and A321 jets.

Power Bank Rules on FlyOne
New international (ICAO) rules apply from 27 March 2026, and European airlines follow them:
- Each passenger can carry up to two power banks, in cabin baggage only, never in checked bags.
- Power banks cannot be charged on board, and you cannot use them to charge phones or other devices during the flight.
- Up to 100 Wh needs no approval; 100–160 Wh needs approval from the airline. Keep them within reach, not in the overhead bin.
Check-In at Chișinău
Online check-in is available before departure. Chișinău Airport is small, but arrive at least two hours before international flights.
Families and Special Assistance
Infants under two travel on an adult’s lap, and pushchairs and car seats can usually be checked in free. Request wheelchairs and other special assistance at least 48 hours before the flight.

Arriving in Chișinău
Chișinău International Airport is about 13 km from the city centre. Minibus 165 and trolleybus 30 run into the city, and taxis can be booked by app.
You can also book an airport transfer in advance at a fixed price.
