About Aerolíneas Argentinas

Aerolíneas Argentinas is Argentina’s flag carrier and a SkyTeam member, with the country’s biggest domestic network and flights to South America, the US and Europe. Since 6 May 2026 its cheapest domestic fare includes only a 3 kg under-seat bag, while Plus still includes a cabin bag. This guide covers the new rules, baggage, power bank rules, Aeroparque vs Ezeiza and how Aerolíneas compares with LATAM and GOL.

Aerolíneas Argentinas was founded in 1949 and is Argentina’s largest airline. For many destinations within Argentina it is the only airline with direct flights.

Power Bank Rules on Aerolíneas

Aerolíneas Argentinas follows the ICAO power bank rules in force worldwide since 27 March 2026:

  • A maximum of two power banks per passenger, in cabin baggage only.
  • Up to 100 Wh without approval; 100–160 Wh only with the airline’s approval.
  • No charging power banks, or devices from them, during the flight.
  • Never pack power banks in checked bags.

Aeroparque or Ezeiza?

Most domestic flights use Aeroparque, close to Palermo. Long-haul flights use Ezeiza, about 35 km away. If you connect between them, allow several hours, as you must cross the city.
